Firefox 2 RC2

Firefox RC2 is out, and it kicks serious a$$!. If you use Firefox (heck or even if you’re an IE user check this out), you might be familiar with its tab browsing, integrated search bar and the tons of extensions you can download that make Firefox even better, but with Firefox 2 RC2, it has added some of the most popular extension features, such as a “close tab” button on each tab, enhanced tab viewing when you have lots of tabs opened, and resuming browsing session (it’s basically a one-step bookmark for every tab in an opened Firefox window)
Also RC2 spots new security features such as built-in phishing protection, which will warn users if there are suspicious websites (i.e., when you open those suspicious emails that direct you to your internet banking site) . New search capabilities in the built in search bar is pretty neat also. You can actually perform calculations. Simply type the formula (i.e. 5 4*8) in the search bar (located in the top right, for non-Firefox users) and you get your answer before you even hit the “=” key. You can also have search term suggestions when you type into the search bar and even rearrange the order of the search engines in your search bar list.
All in all, my experience with RC2 is a pretty good one. With all the little features like the glowing toolbar buttons (when you hover over them with your mouse) and minor UI improvements, I'm pretty sure that the final version of Firefox 2 will be the best browser and would recommend everyone to get Firefox.
